BSO Scholarship

As a response to growing student demands, the Bangladeshi Student Organization at UT Dallas took the initiative to make it easier for Bangladeshi students at UTD to avail certain scholarships listed below (which can also be found in http://www.utdallas.edu/asiacenter/scholarships/index.html).

  1. (NEW) A. Khaleque Family Scholarship TBA

  2. Ahmed Family Bangladesh Scholarship The Ahmed Family Bangladesh Scholarship is for either undergraduate or graduate students with a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA. Applicants must demonstrate financial need by completing a financial statement or FAFSA. Among equally qualified applicants, a preference may be given to applicants who have lived in, matriculated from, a dependent of individual(s) from Bangladesh or have some other connection to Bangladesh through their family or work. A minimum award of $1,000 per year may be given.

  3. Bangladeshi Student Organization Alumni Scholarship The Bangladeshi Student Organization Alumni Scholarship is for either undergraduate or graduate students with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and at least two semesters remaining prior to graduation. Applicants must demonstrate financial need by completing a financial statement or FAFSA. Among equally qualified applicants, a preference may be given to applicants who have received all or part of his/her preparatory education in Bangladesh or have some other connection to Bangladesh through their family or work. A minimum award of $1,000 per year may be given.

  4. Daffodil Scholarship Bangladesh The Daffodil Scholarship Bangladesh is for either undergraduate or graduate students with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and at least two semesters remaining prior to graduation. Applicants must demonstrate financial need by completing a financial statement or FAFSA. Among equally qualified applicants, a preference may be given to applicants who have received all or part of his/her preparatory education in Bangladesh or have some other connection to Bangladesh through their family or work. A minimum award of $1,000 per year may be given.
